Announcing: The MOFITA SUMMER BOOK CLUB!

Supposedly it’s June, and that means we’re wrapping up our school-year-calendar-following first season on the podcast, and taking a little break. But the culture never takes breaks! That means we’ll still be consuming quite a bit of it. We want to continue to share that with you, while encouraging you to set aside some time to read what you’ve been wanting to read, whatever it may be.

For Substack subscribers, we’ve got some fun stuff lined up around summer reading that will be coming to you over the next few months, including:

• Mini book reports from Miranda and Sarah

• Discussion threads on hot books of the summer

• A summer book club around one specific book, with an end-of-summer virtual book club meeting WITH THE AUTHOR!

• Encouragements and incentives along the way for readers to do your own summer reading, including, we are hoping, an end-of-summer pizza party for the biggest reader, just like the libraries gave us when we were kids!
